HUNGARIAN CAVY CLUB (MTK)

Th Club integrates enthusiasts who would like to take part in breeding and showing purebred cavies, or simply would like to know more about their pets. We organize lectures, shows and many other formal and informal events, and we certainly give advice any time.

The animals are exhibited under the official Hungarian standards. Really exceptional cavies can get challenges at the shows, and then become Champions. We certainly welcome pets at our shows, too: they get a critique, placings and special diplomas, just as purebred animals.

The Club monitors and controls the professional work through its own registration system.

To participate on the competiton dog has to be at least 15 months of age and registered in a studbook recognised by the FCI. Bitches in heat are allowed to compete but must perform last.
